Indian-market OnePlus phones have historically shipped without eSIM despite identical hardware abroad.
Open SIM & network
Settings > Mobile network > SIM & network > eSIM (on OxygenOS 14+; older versions: SIM & network > SIM management)
Add eSIM
Tap 'Add eSIM'
Scan QR code
Scan the QR from your provider
Confirm and activate
Confirm carrier details, name the line and wait for activation
Set as data line
Under SIM & network, set the new eSIM as default for mobile data
Open eSIM settings
Settings > Mobile network > SIM & network > eSIM > Add eSIM
Enter manually
Tap 'Enter manually' on the QR scan screen
Paste details
Paste the SM-DP+ address and activation code
Activate
Confirm and wait. Set the new eSIM as the data line afterwards.
On OxygenOS 14+ the path is Settings > Mobile network > SIM & network > eSIM. On OxygenOS 13 it was Settings > SIM & network > SIM management. Indian-market OnePlus phones often have eSIM disabled even on global models — check your model number against the eligible list.
OnePlus 13 supports two active eSIMs simultaneously plus eight stored profiles. Confirm both eSIM toggles are on under SIM & network and that Auto data switching is enabled. Carrier support is still required.
Settings > Mobile network > SIM & network > eSIM, tap the profile, then Delete eSIM. Deletion does not cancel the carrier plan.
